Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny was very good to Kenzie. Here she is checking out her loot.

The Easter Bunny left her a note explaining that he hid her eggs downstairs so we all trooped downstairs for the hunt.
Kenzie had so much fun finding all the eggs.

So proud of all the eggs she found.

Later that day we went for a walk to town and a stop at the park.

She started out needing Grandma to hold both hands on the slide.

Then we worked our way down to one hand and finally no hands. Go Kenzie!

When we got home, Kenzie wanted to try out her scooter. I realized after we went in that I should have put her bike helmet on her...oh well.

At Easter Dinner at my Aunt's, they had my cousin's cat that they were watching. After Kenzie found the cat, she wanted nothing to do with any of us and spent the rest of the night terrorizing...I mean playing with the cat.

Hey come back Kitty!

Ahhh, cute kitty.

Since Mike had to work, this was as close to a family picture as we were going to get this Easter.

Does the Easter Bunny have snow shoes?

After our big snowfall last week, Kenzie and I decided to make the best of it.

We made her first snowman in the front yard.

So cute.
I am such a good mommy! I made these cupcakes for Kenzie's dayhome to help them celebrate Easter today.

Happy Easter everyone!

Riding Horses

Kenzie and I went to visit my friend Carrie yesterday.

She has a lot of horses and Kenzie was lucky enough to go riding with her last year.

Kenzie was a little nervous this time as her horse was much bigger than the one she rode on last year.

She did request that I not take her picture but just stay right beside her holding her leg.

After riding she had fun playing hide and seek and splashing in water and mud puddles and visiting with the other horses, dogs and cat at the barn.

Water splashing good time.

Visiting with Poco. A great way to spend a day.

Tangled Party

Kenzie and I hosted a "little" Tangled party last night.

As most of our guests called in sick during Kenzie's nap it was a smaller guest list than anticipated but we still had fun.

Kaeden and Shelby came over for pizza, popcorn and a viewing of Tangled.

We had fun though I was informed by Kenzie that it wasn't a party.

When I asked her why not, fearing she was disappointed that more people couldn't come, she told me it was not a party cause you had to start a party.

When I asked her how you start a party she informed me you put up the decorations and balloons and games.

Silly me.
