Sunflowers

Kenzie's class has been learning about nature. They brought in sunflowers and talked about the VanGough painting. The kids all painted their own sunflowers. They displayed the paintings on parent teacher interview days. This is Kenzie's sunflower.

Fundraising

She is selling the Student Union Ticket Pack (STUP) coupon books for school fundraising. Books are available for Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer or Medicine Hat. Very soon we will also have Girl Guide cookies. As soon as I have more details on these, I will let you know.

Walking Kenzie to school

Zoo

Grandpa Mike took us to the zoo in Sunday. The Gorillas were a big hit with Kenzie. Especially the one that dragged a plastic bin around with him. It was a hat, a bed, and a bucket.

YBC

Kenzie had her first day of YBC bowling in Sat. She scored a 67. Had a ton of fun. Maks is in bowling with her. Afterward we went to the corn stand to visit Heather and Gord. New bank in town was giving away free burgers so we fed the kids lunch there.

Went to the Calgary Corn Maze on holiday Monday. Kenzie had a blast. Tons to do and nice and close to home.
