Halloween Spooktacular at McKenzie Towne Hall

We headed over last night to check it out.

And lits of running around. Theyeven told the kids fortunes. Kenzie will apparently iwn an iguana and be able to do a back flip when she is older.

The only negative was that the candy bag Kenzie brought home was full of expired candy. May, June and Aug of this year. I called. They apologized and thanked me for letting them know. Offered to replace it but I declined. Monday should bring a whole new haul!

Sprinkler fun

Mike asked me to water the grass last night. I was going to just run out and turn it on but Kenzie wanted to come too. Then she had so much fun running around and playing in the water and mud that we stayed out for over an hour.

Here she is telling the water it can't get her.
I love that a sidewalk, a rock, a puddle and a sprinkler kept her 100% fully engaged for over an hour. I have yet to find a toy that can do that!

We made smores after dinner tonight in the backyard. Two chocolate covered butter cookies with a roasted marshmallow in between. YUM.

This conversation made me laugh tonight as I remember giving very explicit instructions to my parents on exactly how open my door could be at night. Not too tight not too open. If it wasn't just right I couldn't sleep. Guess it's genetic.

Firsts

Went to the movies for the first time with Kenzie today.


Maks and his parents came. They invited us to come and picked us up to go to Cars 2. Does this make it Maks and Kenzie's first date?


Maks came over for the afternoon and then Kenzie and I went over to Heather's for a yummy dinner and roasted marshmallows. Another first for Kenzie.
