We had a really nice weekend. We were supposed to get started on the basement this weekend and I was anticipating a weekend where I hardly saw Mike. Instead we got delayed and had an unexpected family weekend together and it was really really nice. On Saturday, we went out and went to the Farmer's market to pick up something for my Grandma's 75th birthday coming up in April. We wandered around for a bit and had homemade perogies and stuffed peppers for lunch. Yummm! We got home and Mike and McKenzie had a nice long nap and I went out and did some errands. Spent a fun evening hanging out.
Today we had a relaxing morning and I actually got a nice long soak in a bubble bath ... heaven. After McKenzie's nap we ran out and picked up my laptop (had to take it in because McKenzie figured out how to take my shift key off but none of us could get it back on), stopped at tim's where McKenzie flirted with this one year old at the next table ... Jack the baby with the bluest eyes I have ever seen, and made a quick stop at Home Depo. McKenzie was in love with the balloon displays they had all over there so we finally had to stop and ask some attendants if she could have one. They said sure and when they brought over the balloon her whole face just lit up. She started to coo and was just generally charming...well then they could not do enough for her and brought her a second ballon and chased all over the store to find her some string so she would not lose one. She already can wrap boys around her finger apparently...Yikes!
So through all of this I had my camera and not one picture. DeeAnn how do you do it? I keep forgetting to snap the picture and though I do get lots of shots feel I keep missing all these fun little memories. How do you remember to take the picture...post it note on the inside of your eyelids? Any tips or tricks you can share would be appreciated!
Here are some pics I snapped this afternoon so as not to disappoint my "fans". Hope everyone had a great weekend.
One little girl...one BIG mess!

Up close and personal.

Oooh scary part!

How do you get this one over here again?

Playing with our Home Depo balloon.

Fun!

Did you see how much snow we got? I thought you said it was spring Mom?

Oh you meant spring in Calgary hyuk hyuk!
